LNT Awareness
Leave No Trace is the important practice of minimizing the impact that we have when we recreate outdoors. It is up to us to control our impact and protect the environment for future generations. Anyone who participates in outdoor activities should have a foundational knowledge of LNT, regardless of what activity you partake in! This is a great course for all skill and activity levels, including school and scout groups. As part of LSM’s commitment to LNT, the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoors Ethics is one of the options to select as part of our giving back campaign.
In this course, you will learn:
the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace
how you can apply the 7 Principles to your outdoors activities
why Leave No Trace is important and why you should practice it
what Leave No Trace means to you
how you can be an important advocate for our outdoors spaces
Trip Details:
Length: 6 hours
Experience Required: none! Just a love for the outdoors!
Price per Student: 1 to 5 - $40, 6 to 15 - $25, 16 or more - $20 (price includes necessary supplies, certificate, and a certified instructor)
